Default your memories for 2003

At this time of year I get into a depressed mood and like to remember the times we had over the summer months. I don't have many freinds, i can count all of them on one hand, but here on oso I have alot of nice people that who have helped and pointed me in the right direction, Thank you.. I appreicate it

So tell us what were your good memories for 2003? sorry i don't have any pics, Pics are encouraged

my memories...

1. Firing up ole problem child with her the new motor You know that feeling firing it up for the first time

2. Having Mike ( myboatsbrokewaterfoul) as my co pilot at hardy dam and Being able to meet some great oso guys with sweet boats.

3. Finally, I was able to blow by my daddy in his boat, it took a year or two, by i did it..

4. Around the area of my stompin grounds, I was the best, not beat by anybody. It might not be a big deal for you guys, but ever since i was kid I dreamed of being the best and this was a good year.

5. Getting checked by the local sherriff for excessive noise db meter said 106 db....officer...officer thats legal

6. Ofcourse ending the year with my motor still in one piece.

Not alot of memories here, just the better ones which i remember.

Hope the new year is great for everyone.

Your freind

Travis

Good thread

Due to "paying down" our house and
boat ( less interest $$$$)
......HAVING TO "PAY" FEDERAL INCOME
TAX THIS YEAR

Which leads to what the tax man told us to do,
" Buy something more expensive"

Which meant selling the old house and
building a new one, which, Incidently
won't be done til this March, so much
for that deduction.

Working on countless boats this spring,
and none of them were mine

The half a dozen or so trips to LOTO,
that still didn't seem like enough though.

After 2 previous tries, NOT GETTING
BEAT at LOTO shootout.

4 & 6 from Traviss'es list also apply on
mine

TOPPS Poker Run - Breaking the motor, but getting into Hot Boat Mag anyway.

Washington, NC - Good times with racing friends and seeing Bacardi Silver's 200-mph pass.

TOPPS fun run to Freeport, TX - Pouring rain and going by car, but winning the first prize in the Blackjack draw. (Paid for repairs to the boat's steering, if not the motor rebuild.)

NYC - More good times at the races.

Orange Beach - A whole week of it! Having a condo across the street from Live Bait. Riding the start/finish boat for the weekend races for an awesome view for photos.
