Default steering quiz...

Ok, this is a test for the board. See how many different hydraulic steering manufacturers you can come up with. Imco and Marine Machine are two that come to my mind. How many can you come up with? Oh, yea. You have to post a website too.

If you want to know my motive...I'm trying to find a drive bracket that will compatable with my Innovative Marine top cap.

Cord,

I have IMCO hyd steering and also run an Innovative marine drive shower top cap. The brkt replaces the rear facing upper cover. It is single ram but I'm sure they have it in dual ram setup as well.

Thanks for the link klaw. Not much of a website, eh?

Big-yes. I currently have the IMCO rear cap, but this is for my "poker run" drive. IMCO only offers the cast brackets for the Bravo drives. Otherwise they go to the stainless plates which bolt to the top cap. What I need is a bracket that will come off the mounting bolts.

Thanks Ray. I tried doing a search for them, but couldn't find it. Now that I look at the bracket, I wonder if I already have it at home. It's not polished so I never looked at it twice. Man, that thing sure is beefy. The plate must be 3/8"!

Cord,

How about something that is custom fabricated ???

I deal with a couple of guys who can probably make you something. They did the box under my seat to clear the blower. It is race car quality. Of course that is what they do. They are currently building a Nascar based car to go to Nevada to win the Silver state classic again. The car is supposed to run over 240 in the straights !!!!
Let me know and I can hook you up with them.

They are right near the Chain O lakes in IL

Cord, the bracket that came on my Super Hawaii is from Conner. I don't think they are in business anymore, but I think Latham is very similar. Mine bolts to the mounting bolts. But it covers the drive vent scew on the side. The bracket has to be removed to vent the drive for refilling, or the top cap has to come off to vent.
If you need I can post a pic tonight.

Happy New Year

Big-I'd rather keep this a stock item, but I'm always looking for a good referral. Especially for somebody that's local.

Payton-if they are out of business then there is no need to post it. That's a good point you make about the bracket blocking the vent hole. If you have a drive reservoir, does the vent hole ever need to be accessed?
