Snowmobile trip ?????????
 

Due to lack of snow in Old Forge NY, I canceled everything and rebooked in North Conway NH. It's an extra two hour drive but they have snow in the White mountains. I'm renting a one year old Ski Doo 550 Touring something. They have 30 miles of trails. Should that be enough to run around for half a day?

I gotta use the days before the end of the year or I'd wait a few weeks to do this.

Their trails actually connect to any other trails in the state, unless the people you're renting off from are limiting you on where you go. Going from Mt. Cranmore area you can go over Kearsarge Rd and into Maine where you can go to Canada if you want (when snow permitting). I hope you have a good, safe trip. You'll love the area. hey ron, i will be there on sunday, monday and tuesday. that area is, in my opinion, has some of the best scenery in the U.S. i love the Presedential mtn range. where are you geting the sleds from?

Dave, we drive up on Sunday, rent the sled from http://www.lilmansnowmobilerentals.com/ at noon on Monday. Then we go home on Tues.

I was only in this area once before when I was kid. I understand they have a foot on the ground and conditions are good.

The snow conditions right now are not very good, we had quite a bit of rain Christmas day and the temps were close to 50 deg.

actually ron i am renting from the same place on the same day. we put a reservation in a few weeks ago. heres a link to a post i put up. sled'n in NH

i am going up with a good friend of mine from boston. i get out that way every newyears. this year its sled'n.

biggus, sounds like a plan. i am always up for some good offshore bench race'n. i have your # programed in my cell phone. i will call when we get into conway and let you know. RedParka is actually one of the main reasons we go there. i am bringing out my front plate of my truck to donate to there collection (SKIXTRM) :D see if you can get Audio to come up :D :rolleyes: :D

hey ron, i just got into boston (saterday afternoon) i made a mistake i will be down there monday thru wednesday. hopefully we can get togather on monday night and have a beer.
