i'd guestimate its prolly worth like 1500-2500. I'm not relaly into karting very much though. Fun but i'd preffer a full size race car!

new shifter karts generally go for like 5000-7500 depending on how crazy you get into them. Rotax (kinda similar to your's) karts are like 6000 new.

I ran karts for years... I started racing them when i was 9 until i was 15... great times, tought me how to drive with control... We had 4 karts at one time.. wells cargo trailer.. you name it.. we didnt run shifter karts or eduro karts (the lay down kind)... we ran sprint karts, similar to the one pictured. Ran briggs and stratton 4 cycle 5hp motors.... they dynoed at up to 15hp in the modified class! We talked to a few briggs reps and they said they would be scared to sit next to one spinning at the rpm's we ran em at, and as punched out as much as we did to em.. hehe...such fun in those days...

Thanks puder.
It's not a shifter kart.
It's the next class down I think.

LS,

Not knowing all the details, I'd guess $1100-1600 would be a fair price.

Lucky Strike.
Thats a 100 Yamaha with a Can exhaust. Tony kart makes a great kart. You can get an idea of how old the motor is by looking on the outside of the cylinder for a # & the # of fins on the head will tell you old or new style. Most folks prefer the older motors as the newer castings are of inferior quality. Older motors still retain their value. A unknown motor without a history e.t.c. will hold minimal value. Basic stock 100 motors are $600 . Blueprinted motor with pedigree cost around $1300-00 The kart may have some #' on the chassis, if you can find those # you will know what you have. Take it to a local kart shop to get a value. Used kart values suck. I bought a similar type cart last December for $850-00 complete + parts (2001 model). That cart is probably worth $1500- 1800. Try E-bay & the local track.
Do the right thing...race it!
John
