POWERBOAT MAG Covers Smoke On The Water Poker Run 2004
We have been given the official thumbs up
We are happy to announce that Powerboat Magazine will once again be at the Smoke On The Water Poker Run 2004 to cover the event
Our first year’s event (2001)was covered by Powerboat Mag and we are looking forward to their return and their being an integral part of the event this year
Last year we made over $29,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation and gave rides to many kids and there families on Friday
Each year we have made a little bet more for the kids
If we can break $30,000 this year at our Friday events we will have provided $100,000.00 to the Make A Wish Foundation since 2001 (Our first SOTW Poker Run)
Saturdays Run promises to be fun and exciting and again will be filmed by air and land An event DVD will be produced for all entrants
First Prize $10,000
We already have received our first entry for the 2004 event, (a 42’ Cigarette Tiger) and with our new event date of July 9th and 10th (yes a bit warmer weather) in the middle of summer here in Michigan we are looking to exceed attendance numbers from the past three years
Check out the last year’s events, pictures, and info, and sign up on line

I've been to every SOTW event, mostly as a spectator since I just can't afford the entry fee and Boatme says my boat is too small (I've told him I aint skeered!!). I will say, this is a first class event in every way.
