Besides the hotwater oil baseboard, I have a wood stove and central heat/ac system. I have no idea why I live up north.... spring, summer and fall are great... dammed winter BITES!!!!

Wood heats you four times:

1) when you cut it
2) when you split it
3) when you stack it
4) when you burn it

:D :D :D :D

Forgot lugging it up to the house for winter!!!

And getting heated up when I'm trying to fix the dammed chainsaw.... parts are so expensive, almost warrants buying a new one....

Forced air gas- Carrier- two stage burner (high and low fire) and variable speed DC motors for the main blower and the ventor- most efficent forced air gas furnace on the planet- 96.6%......just cruises along on low fire, rarely goes to hi fire.....never even hear it ......pretty slick.......hey, were a Carrier dealer! :) ...doug

A little trick for the garage torpedo heaters... I have a 50,000 btu reddy heater... Mix 20% gasoline into the kero for a hotter burn and cuts down on the kero smell due to it burning cleaner...
