We will be way ahead of you by tuesday, temps will be similar but our humidity will be at a much more comfortable level, in the 60 to 70% range! (I lived in Socal for 15 years)

We northerners could go boating if we wanted to! We're just saving the environment and not wasting fuel on needless runs on clean open water......... What am I saying..... Its cold and it sucks.... We only have 3.75 more months..

Its gonna get warm soon right?

SmilingBob 01-11-2004 10:36 PM

It frigging better get warm SOON!!!!!
And next moth if that stupid Groundhog even thinks of seeing his Shadow he'll end up dead.

Hey, I went boating on Dec. 28 on Lake Michigan. Now that's hardcore!!

SmilingBob 01-11-2004 10:47 PM

I have not been out in December but I have made it out once on Thanksgiving, best turkey day ever.

Waterfoul 01-11-2004 10:52 PM

You can't tell, but most of us have snomobile helmets on (I didn't, but had several hats and my ski goggles...was plenty warm in the 38* air). 80 mph was an absolute thrill!!

SmilingBob 01-11-2004 11:14 PM

42 degrees and 60+mph on the water = very friggen cold. I had ski goggles and full face mask on. I ended up freezing the rest of th day no matter what I did to warm up but was still worth it and can't wait til I get the chance to do it again -- just more cloths on.
