Jason- was that your boat? I've only seen you at the SCOPE events! I haven't heard what it sounds like away from the boat, but when you're on the boat at idle.....it friggin rumbles!!!!

That is my boat. It only has 500EFI's but they do sound bigger for some reason. It tops out right now at about 81 but I can not seem to get it propped correctly, still have about 350 rpm left before the rev limiters.
Sorry you had to make such a haisty retreat due to the harbor patrol. By the way, you must have shot gunned a few bears in college by the way you made your beer dissapear before you ran off to save your boat from being towed .

Took her out on Sunday to Catalina Island for lunch and had a handheld GPS with me. THe MAX speed recorded was 56mph. I was surprised. Didn't really try trimming the drives or anything, plus the center engine needs the top end done (low compression on most cylinders, and one dead one). Didn't matter......we had a great day!
