Big old heavy boats...Takin mega power to move fast, using tons of fuel.
Many are ex race boats with issues and all using $peedmaster drive$.
Very expensive stuff goin on here and not a lot of boaters are wiling to go thru that expense to have an Apache thats slow.

Not sure if Slow is a good way to describe all of them. I know I love the ride and the easy of handling. It is a great and forgiving boat. It also flies level and straight. There are not too many Vee's that passes me on most days. Come on out for a ride sometime, I think you would agree.
I also agree that some of the boats are overpriced. I do not however think a 41 with good drivetrain and engines is worth only $80,000. I have some cross sections of my boat if anyone would like to see them. I will guarantee that not many are made that way. It will be here for a long time.
Now, I do agree on th power to cost on the Insurance, just shop around though, plenty of options today for that.
Have to agree though not too many of them a like.
I also know they can get financing. Recently sold one was down by a Bank.
