Really, if you want something bad enough, you will buy it. Whether its a particular brand/style boat, a 2nd/3rd home someplace, or a mistress NO MATTER ! If you have the coin, you buy what you want. Even guys that are borderline on financial reserve will find a way to purchase what they want and make sacrafices in other areas.
The problem is, who now is creating any hype about Apache new or old. No one. Being in an extremely small luxury niche, without brand awareness, a product 'may' only be worth what a buyer in front of you is willing to pay. From what I've seen though, most Apache owners are wealthy enough where they dont 'have' to sell there boat even though they would like to.

I was looking at that picture of the Apache flying. And when you really analyze that photo.....it is one seriously high flying offshore powerboat! I wonder how many light layup bravo drive boats could handle the incredible force of the re-entry. My guess is 0.
Those guys had some unshakable faith in their powerboat.
