Don't think so, totally different numbers and systems between cell and landline.

Yes it is possible.. the only phone numbers that you can not port are pager numbers of 800 numbers. You can take you home phone number and port it to a wireless number, and vice versa....

Oh I forgot one thing last night, you have to be in one of the 100 areas thast are required by the government to have number portability.. Not all areas have it yet. They went by the top 100 cellular markets in the united states.
