what is best chip upgrade on ford 6.0

i've heard of the bulldog, but what is the best upgrade on the 6.0 and where is the cheapest site to get it at. do they help with mileage, and do they hurt the engine or void the warranty. just bought a new crew yesterday and getting today.

Hi Jim, I have the WWW.Edgeproducts.com get the Edge with Attitude (gauges, defuelling all set in a package) in my 6.0 dually. I also have them in my 2001, and 2002 Duramax, all been flawless and the 2001 has over 180k miles on it and was installed when I had 5000 miles on the truck. User friendly and safe to the truck, turned 13.987 in the quarter with also a DPPI dual exhust and AFE proguard 7 air filter can. Another module is Western Diesel which my Electrician has, seems to be running also good, but not as quick as the Edge. DO NOT get the Bullydog or Quadzilla Modules, go to www.Dieselstop.com you canget alot of info there.

Boot on the board sells these, and will give you more in depth info or WWW.PMTCHIPS.com is also a OSO supplier.

Remember, in the highest setting on all these modules the weak link is the tranny, and the Torque shift has a pressure regulation problem that all these manufactures are working on to handle from a dead start with the highest power from the get go, the tranny is by no means shifting properly, and hopefully a fix will be soon. I drive in level 3 which is 80hp and then shift to 4 and 5 when rolling after 45mph, works great. Good luck, have fun, Jeff

Boot, whats wrong with Bullydog? I have their 70/115 module, and all is fine after 8000 miles. If there is something I should knw? Thanks

The Edge with Attitude is very user friendly and is great for setting safe parameters. Don't be fooled by warranty disclaimers. The dealer can void all engine warrany if they see the vehicle has been enhanced. Don't believe anyone that tells you otherwise. Sam

Pure Energy, I sold them for a very short time !

I bought 12 items ,and all of them had problems .some of them didn't work at all . Hard starting, ruff idle, shifting problems etc. All were replaced with western diesel products ,and then they all worked perfect . Bully dogs answer was , " We know we have problems , should have it figured out in a few months " !!

Then why keep selling them !!

The last one was on a 6 litre ford. I told the guy not to buy it . HE ordered the western diesel box from me and while he was waiting ,He went to someone else behind my back and had the bully dog installed . The truck barely made it over here and he paid me to take it out !!! He said he was so pissed cuause the guy sold it to him ,he didn't want him to ever touch his truck again !

They may, someday , get them figured out , but I don't like companies that keep selling things that don't work just because they have them on the shelf !

The edge is awsome in the 6.0 I also have 4in. exhaust wow does it run.
