I just tried using Frenzy on the left-side hood of my black Mercedes. I think it may have been a mistake! I currently use Zymol, but when I tried the Frenzy it seems to attract dirct and pollen. When I wash the car this weekend I will compare the Frenzy finish to the Zymol. As of right now, I can't understand why the Frenzy is holding the pollen (it is pollen season) and the Zymol is deflecting the pollen. I now have patch of pollen on my hood precisely where I tried the Frenzy. If the Frenzy holds the pollen then it is not as slippery as Zymol and will do the same with dirt and therefore does not do what I want it to do.

I tried Frenzy on my outdrive and it was easy to apply and remove. However, I also put it on the hood of our vehicle and I am not so sure how well it will last. After only one washing I saw a deterioation on the water beading of the product. I we see how well it is after the second and third washing. No, I did not use dish soap to wash it.

Anyone else have any results on how well it holds up. Everything so far has been how great it is to apply but nothing on how it holds up.

Zymol uses the same grade of carnauba and silicone that we use in Frenzy. However, I don't think you will get the longevity out of Zymol without the polymers in Frenzy. I will be curious to hear from you after a couple of weeks.

Which Zymol??

The bottle stuff in the stores is Turtle Wax. The stuff in the tubs that you have to order is pretty good.

Going to use / try them on my boat ( white w/ teal paint ), car ( pearl yellow ) and truck ( teal ). I'll report back after use.
Just curious on how long it took everyone to get their stuff after they ordered it. I ordered these above products on 4/20 ( via the website ) and still havent received them yet as of today 4/27. ( watch it show up today )

Just wondering what the delay is ? Did OSO members clean out the current supply ?

Jason(rollwithit) haves a bottle of the wax, and we used it on my powerquest... did the whole boat(24ft) and it used very little product and only took about an hour to do. We also tried it on Jasons 88' (gasp) bayliner.. The gel is not in that bad of shape for the year, but it does have oxidation on it... it took off much of the chalkyness. While the gelcoat is not 100%, and I dont think anything less than a painting will make it that, it looks a TON better.

Jamie,

Wouldn't you know, it's out for delivery today. Just tracked it. Don't worry, we have an endless supply. We manufacture daily!

Just so you know, it is our policy to ship within 24 hours of receipt of order. For some reason, the midwest takes awhile longer than anywhere else for delivery. We are working with a potential distributor in your area, so that should speed things up in the future.

Thanks,

Thank you for the update Kim. I look forward to trying these products. I'm just used to getting stuff in 3 days from order date when buying stuff online

Kim,

We have always used Treewax a carnauba boat paste wax very easy on off but don't know level of UV protection. We are moving to a gel and paint boat, do you believe your would provide better protection from sun. We are fresh water boaters and store inside.

Thanks
