Let's use the knowledge of this board for some good. There are many successful people on this board. What advice would you give us younger people on this board to help us achieve what you already have. How did you make your money and become successful? What was the most important step on your path to success? What was your scariest time? That kind of stuff. I am very interested in learning how everyone has got where they are now.

I am only 33 now and the biggest thing I did to get ahead was stop racing motorcycles and cars. That cost a ton if you race to win.
I was stupid as far as what I was going to do after high school. I was already making about 30k a year turning wrenches after school and on weekends so thats what I did when I got out of school.
I am lucky for the last 15 years all I have worked on is motorcycles and I am good at. I make between 75-100 a year but its tough because I am all commission so if no work no pay. If it wasn't for my wife who makes more than me and knows how to save money I would have nothing. I make 90% of my money in summer and sit on my a s s in the winter talking to you guys.
I love what I do but it is going to kill me faster than if I was behind a desk.
The only real smart thing we do to make money is buy old run down homes have my brother fix them up then sell them. When people ask me what they should do to make money I tell them real estate is the safest fastest "legal" way.

Do what you know, but do it better than your competition. Study their weaknesses, and capitalize on it. Plan on staying in for the long haul. Get rich quick ideas VERY rarely pan out. Take care of your customers, you need them tomorrow. and whatever you do DO NOT OVER COMPLICATE IT!!! These may seem like very simplistic rules, but you would be surprised at how many business people just don't quite grasp it.

Good quote. I love the one my buddy JD (WickedWon)
says. " The harder I work the luckier I get". That right there says it all to me. People say successful people are lucky.
Winning the lottery is lucky. Success is earned.
