I remember that boat running the Bennihana Grand Prix in the late '70s or early '80si believe. I was pretty young then. Was that you? What kind of boat is it?

In the late 70s my Father raced primarily in Modified class in a 28' Pantera powered by triple 2.4 Mercs.My Father raced in Production class in 81' I believe.

By not cashing that you guys messed up the accounting in Offshore racing in the US and I hear that was the trigger point for all the stellar organizing we have these days... :D:D:D

So go cash it and maybe all will be well and the sport would be bigger than NASCAR and insurance for performance boat will be $125/year and.....

That one was for you LS.....I don't actually remember the 24 pantera.....Great Adventure, I remember. Maybe because the amusement park of the same name?....I was just a little kid at the time....;)

There were 3 Great Adventures. A 28' Cigarette, 30' Sutphen, and a 32' Viper. My dad checks the board frequently, he can give you more information. I know the Cigarette was in 1976-1977. The Sutphen was raced from 1978-1980. The Viper was used in 1980. He was probably in the race you were talking about. Dad, chime in will you. :D :D :D
