Since this thread has been resurrected...and I've never been in a cat I do have a couple questions. My understanding with the cats is once they are on plane (and generating lift) they will run smooth as hell. With 7 foot waves, can you get them to plane, and then run them in this water? How about the bigger V's also? Since I'm only running a 25' boat I wouldn't be caught dead in this water, but how would say, a 51 Outerlimits and/or a Nortech 50 cat do in this kind of water, or would they both be at the dock with my boat?
