Don't have the details you are looking for, but have always admired them. I think they started the "day boat cuddy" design trend now seen in Formula Sun Sports and others. I think Regal messed up by not offering it in larger sizes.

Regal used to make one of the best quality runabouts. But I have not kept up with them since the early ninties, and don't think their quality is where it used to be on runabouts.

I currently own a 1996 27 8.3SC Ventura with twin 4.3lx 205HP's. I am in the process of trading it in on a 33' Outlaw. I had the boat for 2 seasons and really love it. It has tons of cockpit room and cuts through the chop great. It is a great boat that you can do anything with. I've gone waterskiing, fishing, shot down to Atlantic City etc. It's great on gas and the quality seems to be good. I'm making a switch to the performance boats, but if I weren't I certainly would keep this for a few more seasons. If you have any particular questions about the Ventura I'd be more than happy to try and answer them. If you are looking for a 1996 with twins let me know soon before I trade it in and I'll give you a good deal.
