Inprop - I have a Bimini that is made with 1" Stainless Steel with red Sunbrella. I have had this on many over 60 runs with -0- problems. It fit's a 8' Beam that came of my old 250 Sport Baja. It also has a boot that goes with it. Let me know if you are interested. Dave

The secret to it is to have the bimini at the correct angle.
It should be level with the running attitude if the boat. This way it cuts through the air.
Too high in the front it will act like a hang glider and lifts. 2002 I saw the results of one that ripped the windshield off. Driver wound up with a # of stitches in his face and a ruined vacation:(
With my front curtains on , I hold it down to 40/45. Besides it's probably raining and the visibility is reduced.

And cuda , I very rarely run with it up. Also lay it down on the engine hatch when not in use.:)
