ever been to cape cod? not many performance boats there...let alone 1987 Cigarette Cafe Racers exactly like the one in the pic...

I just hope for the buyers' sake, the transom was properly repaired...

Rforsey,

You headed down to pick yours up this weekend? When I saw Vincent in January he was real happy with his boat. I didn't know he was selling it?

Jim

Impulsive: I'm 100% sure it's not the boat with the transom issues. Mainly because that boat (with the issues) is 20 feet from my boat, and I was at the yard this morning up at Lake Winnipesaukee.

Damdonzi is the boat with the rot problem still for sale. Rick G.

damdonzi 02-26-2004 03:00 PM

No. They said the owner is going to fix it. BIG $$$
Transom work. Stringer work. Yikes.

Rick G 02-26-2004 03:06 PM

Too bad for the right price that type of project is right up my alley. If the situation changes please let me know .
Rick G.

Thats the cafe that was for sale in falmouth with transom rot?

damdonzi 02-26-2004 03:13 PM

Will do.

Yes, they said it was from Falmouth, so I have to think it's the one. How many other Cafe Racer's with that paint job are on the Cape?

Cool, thanks donzi!:D
