Very nice.

Pointerman, The law (Federal which the States have to follow) mandates you use a "Three inch block character in colors contrasting with the background. Numbers and letters are to be applied on the forward half of the vessel above the bond line."

Now as with most laws interpretation is key, so depending on the law enforcement official things can go either way. The interpretation of "block" character and "contrasting color" is where things get confused. Many law enforcement officials have taken on their own interpretations and you are at his/her mercy.

However, Most people don't get pulled over because of their numbers, they are usually doing something else real stupid and high profile, then it goes down hill from there!

How do I know this? It's my business. I am the owner of Hardline Products and we manufacture the majority of the registration letters & numbers made.

Go to our website at www.hardlineproducts.com, Boater's World or any Boat Dealer. We have allot of great color combinations that are UV treated and match your boat. Follow our step by step installation and it will be legal. We have several font styles that meet the Federal Guidelines when installed correctly.

I don't recomend using sign shops, the vinyl is not always outdoor rated quality, some fonts are not legal, color selection is limited, they are expensive and they do not include application instructions. Not to mention you have to wait a day or two. Why wait and pay more?

Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Kevin Schulte.

I succumbed to the spell checker. It added the comma.

Just ordered some stuff from Kevin at Hardline. Great guy with great service. He pulled something out of his archives in order to meet my specific need.

Thanks for the help Kevin!
