Default Looking For Work In Florida

I am relocating to Florida in the next 30 - 60- days.
Am looking for work in "Outside Sales" in the central/southern region.
We are looking at Ft.Myers to St.Pete and anywhere between or across to other side of state.
I have 17 yrs experience in this trade and have a resume for anyone that may know of something.
We are done spending 5 months a year in Ohio watching everything turn gray and die!!
We have been going down 3 or 4 times a year for the last 3 yrs and each time it gets harder to come back!
We are moving to the sunny state of Fla. to be able to burn gas and break parts 12 months a year
Appreciate any help/suggestions guys.
I am dead serious and ready. No house to sell, no kids to move, no lease to break.
Just me and the Mrs., a dog and two boats.
Call me anytime @ 614-866-8596, fax 614-866-8614 or e-mail me at [email protected]
Please help get me the hell out of this state!
Gary

Thanx guys!

Yeah, we have a bunch of boating friends down there and they all say the same thing. Anndddd----
they only allow so many "Yankee's" across the border per year and we need a sponsor :0
Just too damn nice in that state (for boating) to not live there!
Plus broken motors are so cheap down there. Since I run O/B's I can get a dumpster full of brooken ones and have enough good parts left to keep my junk running for at least a season or two
Course my buddy in Miami teels me that he has to budget his boating time so he does'nt burn more gas than he can afford!!
I can't even comprehend that!!

Gary,
See my ad in the classifieds under employment.
Give me a call if you think you'd like to offer people the finest boat lift for their prized posession...

Position will be in the Ft.Laud/Miami area though...

Just did a lift for this guy...

Thumbs up Yep

our routine here in Ohio has been (for ever) to have the boat/trailer locked and loaded Thursday night so as soon as we can haul ass Friday, we are mobile!
The we drive 2 1/2 freagin hours to Lake Erie. EVERY WEEKEND!!
You get used to it after a while but if you "really have fun" for the weekend then the ride home Sunday night sucks bad!!
So now I'm hooked on looking at the Fla map and figuring out how far we can get in any direction in 2 1/2 hrs
I figure if we're in the Ft.Myers area we can be on the Atlantic coast in that amount of time.
Or getting close to hitting the first Key (Marathon?) heading south with the trailer or bee there by boat!!
We have been crossing Lake erie about every other weekend. That's about 45 miles of open water.
With another 15 that will get our asses from Lauderdale to the Bahama's
Just picked up a book the other day that was something like "Romantic get aways in Fla".
(to finish my sell job on the Mrs. and It worked)
It lists a bunch of the beaches around the state that are not very well known by anyone but the locals.
I plan on invading every one of them
Probably can't tell I'm geeked about this but I am
YANKEE HOH!

Fort Myers to Lauderdale is right around 2 hours towing the boat, Less without.

Marathon is not the first key, Largo pretty much is, but thats OK, Islamorada(Tiki Bar) is pretty much next, then a bunch of little ones, then Marathon. You will be pretty much 2 1/2 hours to Largo, 3 1/2 to Marathon, and 4 1/2 to Key West, give or take depending on Traffic, and how fast you tow across alligato alley.

Yeah, it is only 15 miles more to the Bahamas, but dont forget about the Gulfstream you have to cross, it can kick up pretty good, and be unpredictable(good luck gettin home on Sunday). And when you get there, BEND OVER!!!!! $300 just to legally enter the country by boat!!!!

http://www.boycottbahamas.com/

The keys are free to enter, hotels are relatively inexpensive, Food is Awesome, and Largo is only a little over an hour from Lauderdale if you go at low traffic time!!!!
