FeverFan : Unfortunately I don't have any more pics or info on that truck. It looks like a pretty serious tow rig too. If I was there when these pics were taken, I would have certainly checked out that rig from top to bottom. Tres took these pics and sent them to me via e-mail.

I know this nice place right on the boardwalk that would be perfect for your family. Try it out and make a donation to the "Restore Kid Apache Fund."

Too Old : That wheel is sweet!

LEOPAJM : The interior has faded a little, but in person it still looks red, thank goodness. Of course, if it was pink the boat would REALLY stand out.

Will -

Awesome progress. Look forward to running with you this summer. What did you and Tres wind up propping it with? I'm headed down the beach in about an hour. I'll be there at least until Sunday morning. Give me a call on my cell if you get a chance.

If I'm out and about, which of the firehouses are you in, 15th Street?

O.C.Barry : Hey man. Sorry I missed you this weekend, but I have been on the go for the last few days. It was a hectic weekend to say the least, but the weather was GREAT!

I hate to say this, but I can't answer your question about the props because we have not done any testing yet. I spoke to Tres yesterday and the boat is finally off of the old trailer. While they have it off, they are repairing a few spots on the bottom. We figured that these repairs might as well be done while they are easily accessible.

Anyway, the plan is to get the bottom work completed and then put the boat on the new trailer. Once this is done, the boat will be ready for testing. I'll keep you posted.

Oh yea, I did get a few new pictures a couple of days ago. The new compasses have finally arrived from Ritchie, so the dash is now done for this year. I think that it came out really well considering the limitations that Tres and his crew had to work with. In the overall picture, we spent very little money this year for cosmetic items. Our focus was all about making everything work. Even so, these guys still made everything come out looking good in the long run!

Looks great Will! I'll be in Lauderdale the first week of May, I'll stop by and say hi to Tres and take a look at your boat.
