florida mid to end of March

any poker runs or fun runs? any oso things going on??
i am trying to put together a trip to test and use our new purchase in fl before it makes the haul accross to calif.
its in ft lauderdale now and would love to run around int the nice warm cear water for a couple of days,.
any thoughts?
east coast? west coast? good hotel by marina and beach and fun to stay?
any input appreciated,
