Default How much is a 502/420hp carb motor worth?
Supposedly has 90 hours on it, and is complete with all accessories but no exhaust. Guy said it was from a 1997 boat so I'm a little skeptical about the 90 hrs.

Don't have any idea about the value. A 502 carb motor from '97? I'd get some more info on that. I didn't think Merc was still making a 502 / carb motor in '97 except the 500HP.

have him give you the numbers off the block. you'll be able to find out the year and other info.
