Default 38' Formula fastech

Saw the test in Powerboat....38' Fast tech with 575sci's she goes 79.5mph...price $ 423,665....

The 42' Executioner with staggered 496HO's goes 75+ for $ 199,875...

...guess if push came to shove I'd get TWO 42' Executioners ..and have $23,915.00 left over for beer and gas...

....one for Michigan and one for Florida....as we have 2 residences...

...I dno't sell boats either..and have always owned Wellcraft ..Novas/Scarabs...

......I think I know a god deal when I see one...and heck the 496HO puts out a lot of HO for the money...my mechanic says it's a solid package..his yard has several boats with them and no problems...can tune it a bit with air filters and the computer box to get another 15-20HP...but why bother...stock is usually better for peace of mind...

If you strip the Formula down to how the Executioner is appointed, you'll prolly have an even closer number.

I can't even discuss it. That price is beyond any reasonable fee for a watercraft to go out and get some sun while spending time with friends...

Apples & Oranges.

As Troutly said the Formula can be bought much cheaper than suggested retail price.

They both are great boats. I would be happy with both.

If the cuddy size and options are important go Formula.

I have loved the 42 Fountain since the first day I rode in one.

We had a local dealer price a 42 to us in November loaded out, A/C the works with 525's and a Myco Trailer and out the door was $275,000.

Good luck in making your decision.

Troutly, You are correct as usual. That is the Poker Run/Pace Boat that Nelems took home with him after the APBA Worlds. The boat is totally loaded. Ran a 150 mile Poker Run in that boat in Milwaukee and it performed flawlessly.
