My cluser f*%k for today.
Ok, what would you guys do? I bought some boat molds from a guy off of ebay. The price was really good, but it made up for the crummy pics. They were listed as being in "Riverside/Denver". After asking a couple of times, I finally got directions to his shop. It's not in Denver. It's in freekin' California! Riverside, CA! Not CO! There actually is a Riverside near Denver, so the location was plausible. Figuring that I was going to Colorado, I thought that I'd make the most of the trip and booked a B&B for two nights. Naturally, non refundable with less than 30 days notice. According to mapquest, Riverside, CO is exactly half the distance from my home to Riverside, CA. Proably some irony about it being only 15 miles from the continetal divide too. 
So what should I do? I really want the molds, but I highly doubt he'll transport them 1,000 miles even though this was his mistake. Even if he refunds the purchase price, I'm out the B&B in Colorado. I could fly out there and rent a snowmobile, but that'll cost some real $$. What should I do?

That's over 2,000 miles. ONE WAY!
What molds did you buy? Have someone go look at the molds to see if they worth the trip. If the molds arent, the weather is!!!

Cord, see if the guy can deliver part way? or maybe truck them to CO via LTL and pick up the freight? I am sure if you tell him that Deanna will bake some goodies he might just do it

I just completed a freight quote request. My guess is that he'd rather drop the deal than pay the freight or milage out there. This freekin' sucks.
Hp-that's one of the things that rots about this. I told the guy that I had a friend driving to Denver. What, did you think the guy was going to drive another 1,000 miles?
