Length: Merc crash box vs. Huber

I need to know the difference in length (mounting face to driveshaft flange): between a Merc (Daytona?) crash box and a Huber 72C trans.
Any of you guys/gals have that info?
thanks
Due

which one do you have ? I just sold a daytona , never measured it but I still have a couple of hubers so I could measure them if you like

Larry-
I have the Hubers. I'm trying to estimate the difference in length; the engine mount/rail system that came with the Jag was setup for crash boxes. I think they're about 2" shorter than the BW.
Thanks

oh its in a cat wasn't it set up with driveshafts ? if so you have plenty of room just may have to modify driveshafts I haven't seen many cats with plug in trannys

The driveshaft isn't an issue. We may have to lengthen the engine rails because of the BW/Huber's length and we're trying to determine how much. It's really not a big deal: just looking for a shortcut to the answer.
thanks

I have a mercruiser Daytona crashbox on a 540 in my shed. I used a yardstick and eyeballed the distance to the centerline of the U-joint. It looks like 14.5 inches. If you need me to double check, I can put a straight edge on the U-joint yoke.
