Whenever we wave and they give us the finger I usually go around (them) a few times to insure that they were actually giving us the finger. I would not want to be wrong zipping by at 60 mph and thinking they gave us the bird when they did not. That would be bad to jump to such conclusion.

By the third loop around their 3 knot rig ususally their is no doubt as to the sign they gave us.

PokerRunGunT/S- your right about the racing. its pretty intense and has nothing to do with pleasure sailing. i usually only follow the americas cup stuff. its some pretty fierce racing and i would sooner watch that than indy car stuff or golf for that matter.

Heres the thing....When I run by them and they flip me off or yell or what ever. I stop...Turn around and go back, pull right up next to them and ask them if they wanted to say something to me. Chickin sh!t M/Frs usually are very suprised when you pull their punk card.
In most parts of the world, throwing someone the finger is good cause for a beatin! And I'm DONE w/ sail boaters!

That's the best response yet. Put them on the spot. Bet they'll think twice next time!
