does anyone know of someplace that will custom cut some doors? I have some oddball sizes that I want done. Oh yeah, I don't want to pay out the wazoo for the custom cuts

Check a good lumber yard. There is a new all plastic "trim" board out. I played with the samples at my local 84 lumber and it looks like neat stuff. Don't think it is as heavy as Starboard, screws and nails/staples. I didn't ask about glue but would guess a good urethane would work. Price was $180 for a 4x8x1/2 sheet, a little much for the cabinets I was building (needed 25 sheets) but not bad for a few boat pieces.
There is also a good material called Ren Shape that we use for molds. It's a foam but with properties like wood. It comes in a range of harness and density. Might be a little tougher to find a local suplier, but take a look at www.freemansupply.com for some info.
