Now this is how to run a great business!
Not really boating related, but...
I just stopped into this little mexican restaurant WAY on the other side of town from me (easy 20 minutes in traffic from my house). I've been there only once before with my father (we cruise the new authentic mexican restaurants once in a while...great fun!). Anyway, I order 3 steak tacos to go.... and get to chatting with the owner. I tell him I like the food, he asked me where I lived... I told him... he said I HAD to have a free soda and hands me a cup. I said he didn't have to do that and gave it back... he says I went out of my way to stop in so I deserve a free soda, he insisted! Told him I was on that side of town dropping off my home speakers for repair, he didn't care... I could have stopped anywhere he says. Now I like this guy... I will be stopping in there again. And the food is awsome. Great hot sauces.... and I still didn't deserve the free soda.
Just thought I'd share a GOOD business story for a change. Place is called Caramba and is on the corner of Fuller and Leonard in NW Grand Rapids if you are interested.
Oh, and I realize the soda might have cost a dime or so, and the styrofoam cup about 12 cents, but it's the thought that counts.
