.....speed on the Nimitz is classified mut I would bet 35-45pmh if you like running a "warm reactor" and by the way....this is so we have gas for our boats and the folks who live their don't have to be threatened and killed at will....and if you noticed...we didn't "charge" anyone one penney for the job! Keeps the Finish boat businees going strong too!

one of the guys on another board works on these things as a civilian, and said the new flat tops will run close to 60 mph.

BTW, Nice picture of Saddams yacht. The navy shot that thing up during the first Gulf War.;)

Prince of Saudi Once said he wishes with all his $$$ he could have 1. The US governemnt let him aboard 1 and let him go 4 a flight off the deck in a F-18. Said it was like a floating city with bombs :eureka:
