BajaRunner,

You know... I hear there's a really, really nice 38 for sale that runs a solid 85 mph (w/ closed-cooled) 500 EFI's. Oh wait, that's my boat! Seriously, please let me know if you come across someone looking. I've got a badddddd itch for a new one!

Oops! Sounds like I may finally get beat by a Baja!

Thus far, I have outrun every "local" Baja on Lake Travis. Most of the "locals" know me, and don't try to race me anymore. But, there will always be the "new guy" with his brand new Baja wanting to "feel his oats" against a lowly Crownline.

I will definitely want to "hang out" with the OSO Baja crowd at the Ski Dock Poker Run. I can't buy a hand, but I may "do the run".

Let's all plan to meet at Carlos'N Charlies on Friday night, April 16th.

P.S. I'll start a new thread for the Poker Run in a few weeks.

Clay,

You can count on me being there for sure. I expect to have Bob finished with the boat soon. Once he is done it goes to Eriksen Marine for detailing before April 17th.

Really looking forward to putting faces to names as well.

Aparently you haven't been hanging around the right crowd! I seem to always get beat by someone! Besides, prior to this engine/prop/computer work, I only ran 80 (but could do it in 6'ers!)

Well, it's a done deal. Was already on the calendar. We should all wear our OSO shirts. That'd be cool and we could all recognize each other - even with fogged beer goggles! haha.

*Figured there should be at least a couple "Name Brand" boats there (2 Scarabs, 1 Donzi and a Crownline). Now that's almost as good as two shots, 1 water-back and a beer)!
