Tiki Bar Openning... Solomon's Island, MD
Anyone know the date?
I have never made an openning or closing party. Always regret it afterward.
They were chatting it up on DC101 the other day, and someone called in with a rumor the place was about to be sold, and more than likely, not re-open.
I SURE HOPE NOT!

I know that you all will find this hard to believe, but I haven't been there or had a Mai Tai in 12 years!!! My finale' @ the Tiki Bar was one never to be forgotten!! Drunkest I've ever been in my life, there is about a 4 hour window where I can't remember anything, but didn't pass out or get sick. My wife reminds me every now and then about what an azzhole I was!!!
Maybe I'm mature enough now to handle them....................NOT!!!!

Brian..If you want to go by boat its best to go tie it up now!!People go down a week in advance and tie up to the limited number of slips available. It would be great to get a group to go down. Its always on a Friday, and the weather doesnt always cooperate. But its a good time.

Craig, The drunkest i have ever been was also at the tiki bar. The last thing i remember was leaving there and going up to catamarans. Next thing i know its saturday morning and i am laying on the floor of my room and felt like crap. Thank god for good friends. Also too if you planning on coming down and drinking plan on staying there on your boat or get a hotel room. There are tons of cops and DNR out that night.

If everything goes as planned we are going to take my dads sea ray over like two weeks before and tie it up. Then I am going to run down the bay in my boat and raft up next to him. Anyone is welcome to stop by and say hi. More details to come as I find out more.

If you can't make it in the boat, maybe a road trip for the LY again.
