The lake is beautifull, but the LGPC is a big problem for sure. I had numerous problems with them (well only Dunn) last year. I decided that it isn't worth the hastle this year. With our short season here in NY it is pretty easy to fill up the majority of the weekends with events elsewhwere. A-Bay Run, 1000 Island Run, GLH's Milk Run,1000 Island PowerBoat Club Fun Run, Jon Cotters Fun Run, NYC Poker Run, and Pirate weekend in A- Bay will leave me with limited opportunities for Sheriff Dunn to ruin my weeekends. Leave your boat home and take Shane up on his offer to water taxi you around.

I still had problems with him even after the mufflers. I'll tell you the whole story next time I see you. I had to call his boss and threaten a lawsuit to get him to stop pulling me over the moment he saw my boat.(running or parked)

Theres always some power hungry numb nut out
to spoil your fun! He probably got picked on when
he was a kid. I've been lucky. The only problem I
ever had was sitting in paradise bay. I was floating
around With my 28, Checkmate ( no swim platform)
A Sheriff patrol saw my pipes sticking out the transom
and gave me a rash of $hit. He asked to look under my
engine hatch to see if I had silent choice. I told him
No he couldn't and sat there till he left.
