Nice Mike, they look bigger because there is tread on the new ones.:D

Cord 03-27-2004 06:48 PM

I don't know. Those old ones still had a little tread left on them. :D

Mine are starting to look like your old ones, just turned 66,000 on the Michelins. Figure I've got 6/8 K left.

damn
and you drove like that all winter :(
talk about taking a risk

I love the Bridgstone Revo's on mine
But thinking about going with a set of 20 for summer use.
Hope to gain better gas mileage with smoother tread then the lugs

Good looking truck, and you will LOVE those tires!!

Of course they look bigger...they have tread on them!!!:D I have 285 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my GMC. Love 'em. Good looking and great in the rain and snow. Tires are quiet riding tires also, have 25k on them so far and they still look great.

285 works well for Ram. It eats up all the free space in the wheel wells. I run 285's on my 2500....:fish:

Mine is a 98. Yes, it has the towing package.... and I've never looked to see if that means it has a trans. cooler. Mine has 113,000+ miles on it, many of them towing my ~7000 lb. rig. Only trouble I've ever had with the tranny stemmed from two minor issues: Dealer I bought it from two upped the tires on it when they got it in on trade. Threw everything off.... limited slip rear end couldn't talk to the computer correctly (rpm's didn't match), the trans didn't match the rear end, and it shifted funny. Second was a bad flow sensor in the tranny valve body. Fixed that myself in about 2 hours in the driveway. Been fine ever since.... that was nearly 2 years and 55,000 miles ago.
