I asked Steve about that last year, he stated simply that SBI had never asked and that he would do the same for them. He seemed to have no personal axe to grind at the time.

As for whether the amount of the deductible was enough or not, I think it's immaterial. I don't take it well when someone doesn't hold up their end of a bargain either.

I once took a guy to court over ten dollars.
