The first leg was pretty rough. 4-6's w/ some bigger holes in the middle. There was a lot of pounding going on.

XXX made the entire day, first to every card stop, and did the entire run with fuel left over at the end of the day. Just goes to show that it is a TRUE pleasure / poker run boat.

That boat went by us at 130 mph on the first leg in 6 - 8 's and ran as level as could be imagined. I have seen some impressive boats, but not like that one.

That's what I keep telling those east coast boys. 4 to 6 in the gulf isn't like 4 to 6 rollers in the Atlantic. Ours are spaced about 4 feet apart and don't get a consistent set to them, unlike the Atlantic where they may be thirty feet between swells.

I hired a private helicopter to follow the OL boys around. I should have some really intense photographs by the end of the week.

Scott,

I was told that the photographer could tell how many fittings you have in your teeth. He said the pictures of us on the way to the lunch stop were absolutely out of control. I'll post them when I get them

I sure hate to send this thread south, but I have to ask: Were there any Apaches running?
