Deere had engines built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries. The Kaw Invaders and Intruders had same motors as the Deere sleds.

Arctic Cats used to be built for them by Suzuki. Still????

You are right. The John Deere Snowmobile line was produced by John Deere Horicon Works of Horicon, Wisconsin. Check this out. We had a trailfire 440.

I was the bad boy on the block with an 84 Liquifire. Not much suspension but on flat snow it was a go cart. My last sled had leaf springs up front :eek:
