Default New Owner: HAWK Marine Engines

Purchased Todd's remaining inventory back in January

I am established speed & machine;engine builder in the Florida panhandle;Specializing in Drag,circletrack,MARINE,ect.......

Relizing all the bad publicity Todd has recieved on OSO,I am a little sceptic about using the Hawk Power name. So might have to start from scratch with Hawk.
I also have the web site , not very much on it, be patient we are working on it. Limited staff ,have alot of engine job's going on

My shop is equiped with top of the line name brands;
Rotler bore, Sunnen automatic hone, Hines computer balancer, DCM guide & seat,CBN mill machine, Superflow 901 Dyno windows program, ect............................

Took a Looooong time build my reputation don't plan on loosing it anytime soon .

Looking for any sugestions on what to do about HAWK POWER name Let me know
Thank you,
Kevin Roberts

Sounds like you have a good shop with lots of equipment. I wish you luck in you venture. The marine community needs all the good engine builders we can get.

However I would ditch the Hawk name and just call it Kevin's Machine & Engineering. Todd has ruined the Hawk name in my opinion.

Sounds good Kevin, welcome.

I think the Hawk name is fine to keep. Since this is the largest 'board' for these type of boats and sport, people here will know that T.C. is out of the picture.

Cant say that I personally have ever heard of you or your current shop, but that doesnt mean anything. If you have built engines for offshore boats, let us know which one(s). This is a small community ( relatively speaking ) and I'm sure that people here will know of or are friends with someone that knows the boat.

Purchasing name brand components is one thing, making them sing in harmony with reliability at a good (competitive or below) cost is what is most important to us here.

Do things right and we will do repeated business with you. We are a loyal bunch here

Also forgot to tell all of you, I go out every chance I get; (when the sun is shining) In my 90',38" Top Gun. You can find me every weekend out on the Gulf at Ochlockonee Shoals 6 miles offshore from Aligator Point. It is truly spectacular out there and nobody knows about it......
