i would like to see how everyone is modifying there jackplates. i am running the special cook 2" lift plates backwards and im notching for the tilt pins. does anyone here have any pics of the back of a 24-32 skater (jackplate area) that they could email me? ([email protected]) i am putting 15" motors on my 24 and i have a good idea of what im going to do but would like to see some other setups , thx , john

15's wow arn't you worried about soaking them when you are not on plane?

Audiofn has a point. Those bottom cylinders are very close to the water when at rest.

actually im not worried at all. a stock 20" motor sits 14" high at rest (from wingplate to water). i will be dropping that 5" . also i have a true race 24 which sits higher in the back due to the tanks being in the middle of the boat. and to top it off i am running drag engines under alien cowls which seal so much better than the old style cowls so i should be good!
