Rforsey, I noticed that you lived in Patten, Me. I had a friend 45 years ago from Patten. Big SOB potato farmer named Steve Webb. Ring any bells?

Brownie,
I was there in 82-85 and was 10 years old in 82, My parents moved back there and we still have close friends up there. Rick Cameron Family had the local bar. and I not sure if you know the Andersons. They now own most of the town

Potato Farmer's are funny I couldn't believe that when I started school, you go for about 2 weeks and then everyone has 3 weeks off to go pick potatoes... I thought it was cool but at 50 cents for a barrel that wasn't going to happen.
I babysat for Scotty's flying service which was cool as hell the kids taught me how to swim
by the way never go in a bait pond with a 5 and 7 year old in a canoe when you don't know how to swim
we would ride 3 wheelers and 4 wheeler and there was 3 different beaches, just awesome........ and I got paid for it.
If you really want to know about him I could try to find out for ya.

Not really, I saw a baby Moose on a back trail snowmobiling, I shut it off and watched it for at least 10 min, it just stood there. They are a rarity and nice to see once in a while. We have seen large ones from a distance but they always run.
now see, that's what I call very cool....a snowmobiling moose
