Sydwayz....thats the irony. I saw no less that 5 boat accidents at the same location last year. On the Potomac but not one made the paper or radio, or TV. I think most of them where smaller boats 18-21 foot, one was a 25 foot cabin boat. I dont think anyone sustained any serious injuries. All at the red day marker before Nanjomey creek heading north on the Potomac. They put large rock piles around the marker about 40 feet on either side of the marker. At low tide they are 1 foot below the water and are invisible. Boaters that are unaware or inexperienced in that area find themselves with the bottom ripped open, and stuck on that pile of rocks. A number of complaints have been filed with the Coast Guard, and letters written, but they are still their. But if a performance boat is involved it would be on every media. Why It sells papers, and attracts viewers. No one wants to read about the 18 foot Bayliner stuck on the rocks. Let it be one of them Cigar boats, and you have a story. Especially if it had steps!!

Yeah, of course BB, the steps would keep you from backing off too! :D :D Where is Nanjomey Creek? Is it north of Fairview?
