Thumbs up

Yep, Norton is the best.
It found two down load trojan virus' imbedded in my system without having to ran a ful system scan. How it got through in the first place is unknown. Just glad it was caught before it completed it's task.

There are a couple virus' out there that will screw up most antivirus programs and a few firewalls too. Some how it alters the antivirus program so it doesn't find the virus. Same for the firewalls. Zone Alarm and BlackIce are/were susceptible to these. Not sure if Norton was susceptible but I went ahead and did an uninstall/reinstall then ran a full system scan just to be sure.

Just a tip:
If you suspect a virus has infected your system, shut down and restart in "SAFE MODE" then run the virus scan. When in Safe Mode only the very basic sections of the operating system and functioning and most virus' are dormant. Norton claims this is the best way to hunt them down.
