LOL Reed and GLH.

Fund, you make a valid point. I guess that's what I was starting to portray in my first post. If you talk big, you better know what you're talking about or someone else will point out that you're a poser.

We have the same problem on our snowmobile board. People saying they ride fast and can kick a$$. Then you ride with them and they can....for all of 10 minutes. Then they poke around going 50 for the rest of the day and want to stop every 5 miles. JB and I weed them out quite quickly. The other posters on the board take every opportunity to call them on it if they try talking big again....which can be quite entertaining.

And, nice boat Fund...we have a couple friends with the same boat. Very nice ride. It's in really good condition too. Take it out proudly.

Nice boat Fund and Glass.

Interior is really sharp.

Thanks.
I found it in Milwaukee and trailered it back to Lake Erie.
Through Chicago.
It was a Lake Michigan boat for one summer.

I'm getting pretty itchy to make some waves.:D

Downtown42 05-03-2004 08:00 AM

ahhhhh that explains it!! Milw?? did it have the old name on it?

fund razor 05-03-2004 08:03 AM

? Explains what?

Boats are nicer in Lake Michigan?:D

No name.
Bought it from a guy who had it a year, and didn't do it any favors mechanically, but he had a friend with a trim shop that did a decent job with the cockpit and cabin.

He ran it in the milwaukee river I think. But he says it mostly sat on the trailers.

fund razor 05-03-2004 08:04 AM

trailer. singular.

Downtown42 05-03-2004 08:17 AM

explains how clean it is...I live 30 mi west

fund razor 05-03-2004 08:23 AM

I gotcha.
Makes sense, too.

I think that it really did spend alot of time on the trailer.

Gone for a couple days and look what happens. A thread about absolutely nothing takes off. I should rename this the Seinfeld thread :D
