yes...i was in the habit of stashing 2, 3, and 5k in envelops here and there...my point was to short term forget about it and well.... i forgot alright!

This is why they were invented, and yes I found an envelope w/ $ 500 in my desk one time.... Oh Yeah I put that there.

Or, do what I did... open a checking acct in my name only that is used for boating, drinking, etc.. wife doesn't know about it.

Here's mine,Sold my house and had hid money and coins in the attic. Checked attic before moving out but could not find the cache.? For years aI tried to think where I had hid it. Then started to think of what to do. Should I go back to new owner and tell him that I had left something in attic?,House went up for resale and then I thought about "inspecting" it to see if I could find my cache.Friends came up with all knds of schemes.IMy wife told one old neighbor and now it bothered them.This went on for several years.Every now and then I would be bothered and try to think of some way.
