Maybe you should post this up on a tree hugging kayak forum somewhere.

Oh... wait... nevermind. I expect they don't use computers either.

Same thing happened to me last summer blue kayak, blue jacket, 2 ft waves.
I was 1 mile from shore. It was close and when it does happen and some one get killed
it will be the fault of the no good power boater. The kayaks have no need to be out that far. What can they see out there? They should be restricted to the no wake zones or have a law that says out of the wake zone is at your own risk. Bad subject
for me I would hate for a mishap to mess up a good day.

Or get them to have a whip or something with a flag. Divers do that and you rarely miss those.

It's just a question of time and one of those will get creamed, literally.

Missed an unlighted canoe by about 4 ft. on LOTO. Didn't see him till I was past him. 11:30 at night, no moon, and I was only running 35mph. Idiot!

i would almost have to swing back around to give the guy a little boating education. that is absolutly insane to be out at that time in an unlit boat. we get that alot on our river here too. there is a few islands that they seem to always be around, defenetly have to keep an eye out for them.

while we are on the subject of boat lighting. one of my biggest pet peeves is poorly lighted boats. i do alot of running at night and i cant believe the boats out there with crappy or almost non-exhistant lights. absolutely stupid and no excuse for it. or even better yet the dip sh!t running with his docking lights on. thats another good one

sorry for the rant but this kinda stuff is why accidents happen and somehow its our fault for being in a powerboat. yep . . . that kinda stuff and a midget with a candle just burn my a$$

Paddle-Fest this weekend in Milwaukee. I know GLH will want to tow his big kitty 1000 mi to attend this event. Perfect timing too!

Due to all the rain we've had, the deep tunnel sewer projects have dumped million's of gallons of overflow sewage into the lake!! YUUKK!!

Just run em over and turn em into manatee food! Oh wait, manatees are vegans! Never mind. It was probably bad advice anyway!
