Re: Crystal Bay Canada
Scott, have you gone over to canada lately? The last time i went by boat we went to duffy's and all you had to do was call in when you got there, that was before september 11 and I know it's changed.

Yes...That is Crystal Bay, sometimes called Crystal Cove. It is, unfortunately, in Canadian waters and you will be boarded...so be prepared to identify yourself. This is why alot of the locals from that area don't bother as much going there as much as they used to. In the very back corner of the Cove, over a smaller dike, is Lost Lake. Very cool spring fed lake, that is only accessable in a small boat, due to the fact that it's very shallow at the small opening entrance. Used to do a lot of water skiing in Lost Lake back in the seventies. Actually, the water flowing downriver, flows quickly through the dikes & is filtered. Cool area. On the Canadian side of Crystal Cove, towards the back, is a very skinny little entrance canal, that leads to another smaller lake. The kids love it, cause the water flows out of that canal like rapids...But that depends on what the river water levels are, in a given year. Hope this helps. Ed
