Damage report:

Loose trim tab hydraulic hose at the pump. My fault, messy, and cost me a pint of fluid, but easily fixed.

Encounter with a substantial mud flat (at idle speed). It took me an hour to get the muck out of the strainers and engines and get cooling water flowing again, and wound up having the boat hauled out for an inspection. Skegs and lower side of the bullets are now 100% free of paint and 40% free of primer. Again - easily fixed. Props now have that nifty satin "lab-finished" look to them, though - kind of cool. I'll think twice about trusting my "local knowledge guide" in that creek again...

Only major casualty was the wallet. 200 miles = 200 gallons.

I almost wish I had broken something. That would at least mean it stopped raining long enough for me to actually use my dam boat!!!!!!!

Only thing we broke this weekend was our bow light.
Guess we're not going out tonight....
