Default 303 On Paint?

Have heard some people mention using 303 on paint as well as just about everything else....Any problems with using this on a base/clear application? I dont see anything listed on the bottle about using it on paint so I wondered... I usually use Meguires Quick Clean but was curioius because it seems like people have alot of uses for the stuff....By the way can you tell I didn't make it out this weekend Figured Id just clean and dream.......

Hi Randy,

Are you asking about the 303 Aerospace Protectant or the 303 Cleaner? I use the cleaner all the time on transom soot and things like bird droppings, carpet stains, vinly dirt, grease, etc...fantastic stuff. Aswell, we get great reviews on it from customers. We now carry the Industrial Strength Cleaner, basically just a stronger version of the 303 Cleaner.

As for as the 303 Aerospace Protectant, I have read some information on using on gelcoat and it is supposed to work well, but to be honest, I do not think it is a strong point of that product. I do not feel it protects gelcoat very well, just my .02. Now.....upholstery (vinyl, leather, plastic, etc) it rocks though...very good stuff.

We are dealers for 303...if you want to get a little info about the products we carry just visit our site at this link...

I used the protectant on my jet ski fiberglass and it was awesome,, protects and shines VERY well, the ski looked brand new... although the cleaner doesn't work very well on vinyl.

Hey Chris, sorry to hear you did not have good results on your vinyl. I used the cleaner on my vinyl for about a year or so before we started the online store and picked up the 303 Product line, and the reason I picked up the 303 Product line is becuase it was the best thing I had ever used to clean my vinyl (lots of products tried!!). That was one of the products I HAD to sell...best stuff I have found. Anyway, great to hear the Protectant worked so well for you!!

We've never tried the 303 cleaner, but the 303 protectant made these 18 year old bolsters look like new.
