Default Anyone think advertising on Race Boats doesn't work?

In the last month we have consumed copius amounts of Bacardi Silver.Purchased Lucas Oil for my old work truck.Bought Waxing Frenzy from Hammerhead Boatworks. We drink Nesquik at work.We still eat at Popeyes and Copelands.Carrabas is great Italian food.Thats just off the top of my head for the last month.I think offshore powerboat racing has influenced my purchasing a tad bit!

I'm sure it has. But how many people watch NASCAR or NFL compared to APBA or is it SBI or is it OSS ? Whatever I try to buy things I see advertised on boats support what I like

NFL and NASCAR are much more accesible because A:Every town in the USA has a football field.B:Almost every family in the USA has access to a car. Powerboat racing is exciting because not everyone has a boat in their yard.Boat racing is exotic. It helps to have a brand such as GM,Ford or Dodge to cheer for but we have seen all GM derivitives as of late.I bought a Mercury outboard for my fishing boat because all I saw at the races were Mercs.Race venues should be planned for summertime when most average folks visit the beach on vacation.Imagine a land locked kid seeing Bacardi Silver,Pier 57,or Callan for the first time. He or she will dream of that boat for years to come.Probably bring their kids back on their vacation. We attend APBA,SBI,and OSS races so far.We are hoping to see the one big "race for the fans" this year.
